Lesson Coordinator / Sales Support
Position Overview
We are seeking an organized, customer-focused Lesson Coordinator / Sales Associate to support our growing music education and retail operations. This role combines lesson program administration with front-line customer service and sales support. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and has a passion for music and helping others.
Purpose
Manage and coordinate the lesson program, ensuring a positive experience for students, families, and instructors. Also to provide exceptional customer service and support daily retail and rental operations in our music store.
Responsibilities
- Contact prospective students interested in beginning music lessons.
- Schedule lessons and coordinate teacher assignments.
- Communicate with teachers, students, and families regarding schedule changes, cancellations, and special events.
- Organize logistics for lessons, recitals, ensembles, and other music programs.
- Coordinate teacher availability, studio room assignments, and scheduling needs.
- Proactively monitor school vacation schedules and communicate any necessary adjustments and/or reminders to teachers and families.
- Support the ongoing growth and success of the lesson program through excellent customer service and organization.
- Assist with the preparation, setup, and presentation of instruments for sale and rental.
- Support general store operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills and comfort learning online software systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and phone communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Seasonal Part-Time Staff
Position Overview
We are seeking energetic and personable candidates for Seasonal Part Time opportunities to assist us with our upcoming “Back to School, Back to Band” season.
Responsibilities
- 6-to-8-week commitment
- Evening and/or daytime hours available
- Some computer work depending on assigned task
- Assist staff with preparation and fulfillment or orders
- Help parents initiate a rental contract for students enrolling in their school band or orchestra program
- Assist with deliveries to schools
- Help with inventory control

Full-Time Repair Technician
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Musical Instrument Repair Technician to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of musical instruments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical repair abilities with a practical understanding of music, sound quality, and instrument performance. This role supports musicians, schools, ensembles, and retail customers by ensuring instruments are restored to excellent playing condition.
Responsibilities
- Inspect musical instruments to identify damage, worn components, mechanical issues, and acoustic performance problems.
- Repair, adjust, clean, and maintain instruments.
- Disassemble and reassemble instruments carefully, replacing worn or damaged parts as needed.
- Perform tuning, alignment, regulation, soldering, dent removal, pad replacement, setup work, and other repairs appropriate to the instrument type.
- Play Test instruments after repair to confirm playability, tone, intonation, and overall performance.
- Prepare accurate repair estimates, document completed work, and maintain service records.
- Communicate repair options, timelines, and care recommendations clearly to customers, musicians, educators, and internal staff.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe repair workspace, including tools, parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Work with internal staff to communicate about any parts or supplies needed for repair work
- Stay current with repair methods, materials, tools, and best practices in musical instrument maintenance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience repairing musical instruments or completion of a recognized instrument repair training program.
- Strong knowledge of musical instrument construction, components, adjustment methods, and common repair issues.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, patience, and attention to detail.
- Ability to use specialized hand tools, measuring tools, cleaning equipment, and repair equipment safely and accurately.
- Basic ability to play-test or evaluate instruments for tone, response, intonation, and mechanical function.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to determine practical repair solutions based on instrument condition and customer needs.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple repair jobs, prioritize deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
